Control Solution - Glucose

The Glucose Control Solutions are used for quality control of blood glucose measurement systems. 

They are intended to verify the proper function of the meter, test strips, and testing procedure.

Product Details

• Contents: 3 control solutions (3 levels)

• Fill volume: 2.5 ml per vial

• Level 1 (low): Reference range 0.7–3.3 mmol/L

• Level 2 (normal): Reference range 5.0–7.6 mmol/L

• Level 3 (high): Reference range 13.0–20.0 mmol/L

Intended Use & Principle

The control solutions are aqueous solutions containing defined glucose concentrations. 

When applied to a test strip, the glucose reacts with the reagents on the strip, generating a signal that allows verification of correct system performance.

The results are used solely for quality control purposes and must not be used for determining personal blood glucose levels.

Storage & Shelf Life

• Shelf life: 12 months when stored at 2–32 °C

• After opening: Stable for 3 months or until the stated expiry date, whichever occurs first

• Do not use after the expiry date or beyond 3 months after opening

Important Notes

• For use only with Metabol Pro meters and Metabol Pro Glucose Test Strips

• Each batch has a specific QC range and is not interchangeable between batches

• Shake well before use

• Do not swallow or inject
